Gift Shop
A small shop jam-packed with gifts. Our inspiration has been Carmarthenshire and Wales. The stories, the history, the traditions, the crafts. And you, our visitors. Please let us know what you think of our carefully-chosen selections. And we hope that among them you’ll find a special memento of your trip.
We are delighted to showcase the work of local crafts people. Colourful scarves woven in the Tywi valley by Jaki. Blankets and cushions from the famous Melin Tregwynt. Charming lovespoons beautifully carved from local timber by Robert Hopkins. And from the hills we have a range of Siramik’s hand-thrown earthenware. From starry ambition we have eco-friendly homeware, handmade from organic cotton and free from harmful chemicals. And naturally we are delighted to sell Myddfai’s luxury toiletries 'with a social conscience'.
We have a lovely choice of notebooks and stationery. And environmentally-friendly cards and prints by the well-known Paperwhale. And veggiestrology birthday ones to make you smile from Llanwrda’s Shippo Cards. We’ve always prided ourselves on selling books of Welsh interest in both languages. That’s still true and now we have some fun quiz books and board games for Welsh language learners, including ones for your canine best friend.
If you're looking to buy something unusual and different, or a small gift for a child, you might find it in our shop. Also to mention that Parc Howard and the Museum of Land Speed will have retail areas too. If you do make a purchase, then we would like to say thank you now as it will help sustain CofGâr: Carmarthenshire Museums for everyone.
