Engage

Carmarthenshire’s museums are for everyone and there are lots of enjoyable ways to find things out and get inspired when you visit.  Because our museums are changing, our learning services are too. As part of this, facilitated sessions to support the new Curriculum in Wales will be available. We also aim to offer new on-site and on-line learning activities and workshops in the future. Our developing partnership with Parc yr Esgob - the Bishop's Park will lead to a richer experience at Carmarthenshire Museum too.

A special mention for the new Museum of Land Speed in Pendine. The location is inspirational, showing how a small Welsh community can lead the way for the rest of the world. It will provide opportunities for learners to be curious and inquisitive and generate new ideas in a safe environment. The exhibition incorporates opportunities for learners to apply cross-curricular skills, with links to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, literacy, digital competence, humanities, health and well-being, and Welsh identity. and use these to develop critical thinking to solve problems.
