At CofGâr we encourage learners to think deeply about their own culture, identity and past. The National Gallery ‘House of Cards’ exhibition allowed local school children to explore these ideas. The exhibition was inspired by ‘wabi sabi’, the Japanese concept of finding perfection in imperfection. Working with artists, the pupils chose the objects that inspired them.
