Loan Boxes
Our Loan Boxes are available to support creative learning in Carmarthenshire's classrooms and community settings. They contain a mix of real objects, replicas and printed materials.
The main history resources cover Celts, Romans, Age of the Princes, Victorians and the Home Front. We also have some items to support the Tudors, Civil War and World War One.
This is a free service, but there is a charge for damage and replacements. Contact us for more information.
Celts and Romans
Replica Roman armour and Celtic warrior dress.
Suitable for ages 7 - 11.
Also some adult size costume.
The Age of the Princes
Boxes of full-size replica armour, helmets, swords. Caution. Heavy. Also castle model and house model.
Suitable for ages 7 - 14.
The Victorians
Various themes, children's dressing up, school, laundry.
