Evening Christmas Shopping at Carmarthenshire Museum
Need inspiration for a gift? Want something for that special someone? Come along to Carmarthenshire Museum on Friday 8 December, where the Museum and Gift Shop will be open until 8:30pm, alongside the Bishop's Park's Christmas Fair and Stacey's Kitchen. You'll find a range of locally made products from suppliers committed to sustainability, as well as books, toys and presents for every occasion. There are plenty of gifts inspired by the Museum collections too, such as stunning Melin Tregwynt blankets; delicate lovespoons; and luxury Myddfai toiletries.
Festive Family Fun
As well as great gift buying opportunities, you'll also have a rare chance to see the Museum after dark!
All galleries will be open, including our fabulous National Gallery Masterpiece Tour exhibition of the Tobias and the Angel painting, from the Workshop of Andrea del Verrocchio.
There'll be plenty of fun for children and families too. We've got a decoration station in the Main Hall, where you'll be able to make your very own Christmas decorations, which you can either take home or add to our beautiful Christmas tree.
You can also make a wish and add it to our Wish Tree in the Chapel. Maybe Father Christmas will even make it come true!
