Babs will return in 2026

Babs has now left the Museum of Land Speed, but the legendary race car will return to be displayed in the Museum in 2026, thanks to the kind support of the Babs Trust.

What makes Babs so special?

- In 1926, Welsh racing driver J.G. Parry-Thomas set a world land speed record – twice! – right here on Pendine Sands.

- Tragically, the following year, he lost his life trying to reclaim the title.

- After the accident, Babs was buried beneath the dunes for 40 years before being carefully restored.
