Family Fortnights at the Museum: Nature Explorers
Nature Explorers Fortnight
18 - 31 August | Carmarthenshire Museum
As the summer holidays draw to a close, we’re rounding things off with a celebration of the natural world!
Our third and final themed fortnight—Nature Explorers—is packed with family-friendly fun inspired by the wildlife, plants, and landscapes of Carmarthenshire. From 18 to 31 August, come along to Carmarthenshire Museum and enjoy a range of drop-in activities perfect for curious kids and nature-loving grown-ups.
Get stuck into:
- A nature-themed activity sheet and quiz to help you explore the museum and its surroundings in a brand-new way
- Creative crafts inspired by nature
- The chance to look more closely at the natural history collections on display—and maybe even spot some real-life creatures in the museum grounds!
All activities are free and are designed to be self-led, so you can take things at your own pace. Whether you’ve visited before or it’s your first time, there’s something new to discover for everyone.
It’s a great way to wind down the summer while sparking a love of nature and local heritage.
No need to book—just turn up and join in!
