Seaside Sounds: Make Your Own Shell Wind Chime

Wednesday 20 August 2025 | 11am – 1pm

Bring a little bit of the beach home with you! On Wednesday 20 August, join us at the Museum of Land Speed for a creative, coastal-themed craft session where you can make your very own shell wind chime.

Drop in between 11am and 1pm to design and build a wind chime using shells, string, driftwood, and other seaside treasures. Inspired by the nearby Pendine Sands, this relaxing, hands-on activity is perfect for families looking for something fun and calming to do together.

Children can enjoy choosing their materials, threading and tying their creations, and discovering the sounds their chimes make when they catch the breeze. It’s a great way to get creative, explore textures and patterns, and take home a handmade keepsake from your visit.

All materials are provided, and the activity is included in museum admission. Suitable for a range of ages—no experience necessary!

No booking needed—just drop in and enjoy.
