Celebrate the official opening of Smashing Boundaries: Celebrating Women in Sports in Carmarthenshire on International Women's Day.

This brand-new exhibition at Parc Howard Museum shines a light on forgotten female sporting pioneers and women who continue to make important contributions to sporting life today. Co-curated by a team of young female curators and filmmakers from across Carmarthenshire, this powerful exhibition challenges traditional sporting narratives and honours the achievements of women who broke barriers in sports often dominated by men.

Join us on 8th March at 2pm to celebrate these trailblazing women, meet the young curators, and be among the first to explore this inspiring exhibition. Following the opening, there will be discussion panel at 3pm including one of the young curators, as well as Catrin Stevens from Women's Archive Wales. All are welcome to this fabulous event.
