Spooky Storytelling
Begin your October half-term with a spine-tingling tale or two at Carmarthenshire Museum. Wales is a land rich in folklore, filled with legends of ghosts, spirits and mysterious happenings – and Carmarthenshire is no exception. As the nights grow darker and the Halloween season draws near, we invite you to join us for some eerie and enchanting stories from the heart of Welsh tradition.
On Saturday 25 October, Liz, our spooktacular storyteller, will bring to life tales of restless spirits and haunted places. Hear chilling accounts of the ghost of Kidwelly Castle, discover the secrets of the spirits said to dwell at Aberglasney, and enjoy more spooky stories from across the county. With a touch of fun and just the right amount of fright, these tales are sure to spark the imagination.
The stories are suitable for children aged 5 and over, making this a perfect family-friendly way to celebrate the season. There will be two free drop-in sessions during the day at 11am and 1pm.
Come along if you dare – and step into a world of folklore, fright, and fascination at Carmarthenshire Museum.
