Wings in the Willows
Forest Friends Theatre present Wings in the Willows
Join us at Carmarthenshire Museum on Monday 25 August for a fabulous new children's show by Forest Friends Theatre called Wings In The Willows.
With a nod to the children's classic story by Kenneth Grahame, featuring dance, song and comedy, highlighting the effects on rivers of pollution. The Wild Wooders, desperate to preserve their habitat, challenge the wasteful and uncaring Mr Toad. Can they educate him to change his ways and will he become a champion for clean rivers and healthy woods?
This charming performance showcases: dance, live music, singing (Welsh and English) and comedy. An interactive performance for adults and children of all ages which will have audiences singing and dancing along. Fun for all the family.
Wings in the Willows - Creative Dance workshop
Using themes from our show 'Wings in the Willows' Dragonfly will lead a fun song and dance workshop for children and their families . Expect lots of games, songs, music and dance. The children/families will work with Dragonfly prior to the show to learn a dance and create their own choreography inspired by the characters from the wild woods and nature. The workshop ends with a river festival celebration parade using dance props and costumes.
Children will then be invited to be part of the show and will have an option to perform their dance in the show.
